Well, heck, maybe they’ll even invite her to Trashmas this year.

OMG I love this comic. Like I can just hear Atomic Domme’s voice for the pink and sparkles “GIRLFRIEND”. And I especially love the last three panels, with Turp’s expression on the last panel, because well…

It reminds me of an old Mad Magazine parody, I think of Midnight Cowboy:
“Hey do you wanna go to a pot party?”
“OK, though I don’t know much about Tupperware.”

All that said, I think Honey’s reception by Turp’s band is going to be better than when Turp shows up at one of Honey’s shows…

I looove how supportive everyone is of Turp’s ,~’+*Girlfriend*+’~,

And oh gee Honey, you finally got that cult invitation and then you BLEW it. All that practice just went right out the window!!!

It’s definitely gonna be a bit awkward for many of them, but I’ve always trusted this comic to make me feel good and I won’t let down my expectations now.

This makes me really happy, the idea of someone trusting this comic – thank you.

hey- long time reader and fan here! i was wondering if we’d ever see any butch lesbians in the comic? dont get me wrong, i love femmes too- whether they be sugary sweet like honey or more gothic-trash femme like turpentine- but us butches need love too!

Kathleen on December 4, 2017 @ 8:48 pm

Glad you like the comic – and yeah, I’ll keep this in mind for the future as we meet more characters! Femmes are like obviously my central thing, but I definitely think there’s room in this comic world to see all types of lesbians, and I want it to feel like a place where readers anywhere on the butch-femme spectrum are welcome and Among Queer Friends.

Hey, I’ve been reading this for a stupidly long time now (and I’m stupidly invested in these amazing characters!) I just wanted to say thanks for such a great piece of queer media. Even though it may seem trivial and not that deep, this comic helped me get through a pretty big breakup, and it was great seeing Turp and Honey doing great, even if i wasn’t! I just really love this comic, amd i hope it continues far into the future xxx

OMG Foxy is just adorable in this strip. Just the cutest bubbly punk. I love her.

Read the whole comic in a day and I love it. It just has such a good aesthetic and it is lighthearted and soft without excessive drama – it is just nice to read; it is nice to have a comic where it isn’t the norm for everyone to overreact to every small thing and flip their lids due to ridiculously poor communication skills. It is like, most other comics are kayaking down a river that has waterfalls and rapids, and this is more like gently rowing a boat around a still lake where it is safe, and calm, and people can actually understand people make mistakes and people can correct their mistakes and people actually listen to each other.

Queer trans girl here! I found this comic a few weeks ago and have read it over and over and over since, and I thought I should tell you how much I love it. I’m pretty enamored with the Sourballs.
