Glad to have you back, Kathleen. Hope the new place feels like home. And I hope there are no scary gigantic tape worms talking to you in your dreams like there are going to be in my dreams tonight, thank you very much.

So happy you’re back! I’ve been reading this comic for a while and have really missed its regular updates! Congrats on the new place, keep up the excellent work! …I’m loving this tapeworm

“Clearly you are drawn to acts of mating” -say that in a Robot Voice!
This brings to mind the Kids in the Hall tapeworms sketch.
Hoorey for new comics!

Oh, I imagine this tapeworm having a really robotty voice — except somehow organic sounding instead of metallic or synthesized.

Drunk sleep talk is the primordial source of all poetry. At least, according to James Joyce. Who was, I think, an alcoholic narcoleptic. I think.

I tend to sleep sing, scream at bird people dressed in university robes and explain casino statistics and payouts

Maybe I’m not doing drugs right cause this kinda stuff never happens to me.

Same. I just count the Venetian blinds over and over again. Or describe the perfect sandwich.

AHHHHHH!

*ahem* This is pretty good stuff. It’s great to see you back, and hopefully settling into a wonderful new home!

This tapeworm kinda reminds me of AC power sockets from Honey’s dream. Similiar ‘faces’, similiar topic of speaking, just different point of view.

Kathleen on October 2, 2013 @ 8:31 pm

Yeah! I thought of that, too — they’ve both had similar-ish dream conversations with these creepy, stringy, blankfaced figures.

ps: Thank you, thank you, thank you, all of you who said nice things about me being back!

Kathleen on October 21, 2014 @ 8:35 pm

You could curl up in it like a beanbag chair!

On the last page I was thinking to myself, “gosh, I wonder if she’s going to have a drunk nightmare about a tapeworm?”

I WAS NOT DISAPPOINTED
