I had the next comic more than halfway done when I had this idea, and could not resist doing it first.

^ I know that’s some kind of spam robot, and yet I approved it because ever since I rebuilt this I’ve been wanting to test out the code styling the comments for this stylesheet without talking to myself. I’m gonna go ahead and consider this only, like, HALF talking to myself.

And why not keep double-posting with myself in the void, while I’m on a roll? I’ve been totally delighted with the positive response that these comics have been getting in general — they were originally just to amuse myself, with no expectations of it continuing very far, and it was kinda the best surprise that other people got into it and wanted more. And now I’m in full *So Into This Project* mode, and all I want to do is talk about it, and there’s a certain ceiling on how much I can initiate conversations about it in my real-life circles without being the world’s most irritating person. So, in conclusion: gotta figure out what kind of black magic I can do to make internetdiscussioncomments more of a thing.

I’m a human! And I’m here to say hi and how much I’m enjoying this. Also *hugs* and I hope we’re in the same city at some point so I can meet you for reals.

…Awww, yeah. This is pretty okay. I hate when they’re allowed to nest too far and it narrows into a terrifying ziggurat, but I also like some ability to reply to a specific post instead of just one tall stack.
