Ever the professional, Honey has managed to sing in muted colors despite having very little time to practice desaturation. Her lettering is still a bit too clean, but it’s worth noting that she’s completely foregone her usual cutesy sparkles and floating hearts. A brilliant effort from a very talented young artist: 9/10.

Also, sidenote: This is literally the cutest thing I’ve seen all year.

That cat shirt works really well on Honey Hart.

And I’m glad the other Candy Hearts, and even Damon, are being good sports. Now we’ll see whether Turps is one as well.

Zero has the best costume!

This arc has been incredible so far, so much payoff. I hope it lasts through next Halloween for the denouement – Halloween is everyday and all that.

Also Honey Hart pulls of the darker look pretty dang well for someone who consistently displays herself as a sweet southern belle. I have a feeling she might have been practicing this for longer than she’ll admit. Maybe it started as a tactic in the rivalry with the Sourballs, but however it started it’s now very different.

They’re all awesome.

Also, I dig the wings on Damon’s guitar.

Just started reading the comic a few days ago to get a feel for it before backing the KS (I think I tried to do this last time you had a KS and the stars just didn’t align at the time…) and well… instead of getting a taste before the books come in, I am now fully caught up lol. Anyway thank you for making this & especially thank you for having a trans character who just exists and isn’t like a tragic mess. Looking forward to the books!

If I was rich I swear I’d fund a entire webseries based on this comic, Scott Pilgrim style (with the lettering shown on screen). But hey…one can dream, right?

I just read through your comic and I love this so much! I have one humble question: do you know what CatStax is and do you think Honey would be down for it? It’s basically Tetris on a card with cats.

I hadn’t heard of this before, but it sounds EXACTLY like something she would like, and insist that everyone play!

Out of curiosity, how young was Domme when she transitioned? Asking as a trans woman who deeply relates to Domme as a character.

I’ve always thought that she probably started transitioning around her first year of college, after moving to this city from her hometown on the opposite coast – so, several years ago in-universe, and before she met the rest of these characters. I’m glad you like her!
