To her credit, I think she did pick up on that prior to literally observing him making out with a guy. She’s just way less perceptive about the ladies. Coco must not talk much about herself much, with the band…and Honey, as she realizes here, is pretty inclined to not really notice that.
This may not be a universal phenomenon, but it’s definitely a thing for me:whatever gaydar you have is significantly worse for the sex you’re actually interested in, because it’s clouded with like subjective personal identification and projection and second guessing and false hopes, plus weird bonus paranoia-insecurity if you’re not out.
