You guys know by now how much I love in-universe drawing and writing within comics. A LOT is how much. I felt like this whole sequence needed another quiet moment here before we move on and resolve the bassists-got-switched-around stuff.

When I was first making up these characters, I remember writing out a list of a bunch of facts and traits about each of them — and one of hers was “fills up a lot of crazy-looking notebooks”. I think this might be, in general, one of my all-time favorite traits for a person to have.
