… my heart. Oh no, my heart can’t take it. Have you ever thought of writing out all the lyrics to the songs sung in the comic? The lines from the last page were stuck in my head all day, and it just wouldn’t go away, so I kept singing the same two sentences over and over.

I’ve thought about it, but I also sort of think that only seeing parts of the lyrics and letting everyone’s minds fill in the blanks about the rest might work better overall! I usually have a pretty good idea of what each song sounds like, though – I wonder if your tune for this one was at all similar to mine!

Perhaps, maybe I’ll have to write out what I was thinking yesterday.

Aww, teamwork! I just love Turp’s face here. “Weird vocals? Long yell-notes? I have so got this.” Also if those girls get much closer they’ll practically be kissing on stage. Scandalous.

I had fallen a few weeks behind on reading BvB, and then today, while listening to Bowie, I started to catch up, and saw those lyrics…

Oh, yeah, it’s totally intentional that this is basically the BVBverse’s kinda-equivalent of Ziggy Stardust – and I can’t believe I happened to do this exactly a week before he died!
