Can the band possibly maintain its positive attitude in the face of Monopoly (or a knockoff thereof)? Tune in (ha!) next time true believers!

Personally, I would rather play monopoly with anarchists! http://existentialcomics.com/comic/159

Real capitalism needs that house rule, dammit.

Sounds like Honey actually understands The Landlord’s Game better than Hasbro! The earliest documented version is basically an introduction to Georgist thought. I’m curious what her house rule looks like – traditionally the rules to try to avoid that are (simplified versions of) actual proposals for how to patch the American economic system.

OR you can argue about how to tear down the entire economic system with anarchists like so http://existentialcomics.com/comic/159

The gang could also try their luck at ‘Stock Trade’, that’ll be a doozy for sure with no consumer protection!

Whose house has that zany porthole window?

That’s just gotta be Zero’s house.

cath on February 27, 2017 @ 9:50 am

Zero! (It’s pragmatic to rehearse at the drummers house)

Property! AND Stock Trader Junior, huh? Do these guys have a strange affinity for games of money management? Or is that just how the BvB universe rolls?

cath on February 27, 2017 @ 9:53 am

Wait is Zero like a financial planner in his other life or something?

Kathleen on February 27, 2017 @ 10:53 am

I just wanted to suggest that there’s MORE THAN ONE game with play money that Honey applies her rules to! Also, when I was a kid one of the dusty games in our basement was “Stock Ticker”, which I remember as like super ultra boring, easily more boring than Monopoly.

cath on February 27, 2017 @ 7:24 pm

I just Wikipediaed Stock Ticker. It might have been Canoodlian only? It sure does look boring, but might be improved with whiskey…

Jearl on February 27, 2017 @ 7:36 pm Reply

This comic’s double entendre game is as strong as ever.

Greg Stolze on February 28, 2017 @ 8:49 am Reply

….and I can just see the heartbreak rolling towards Coco like the boulder at the start of RAIDERS OF THE LOST ARK…
