18 Comments on Honey and Turpentine Vs. Each Other’s Guitars, Some More

So, this might end up being the only BVB sequence ever where it’s Arsenic who’s being the most responsible-acting character in the room.

To be fair I can’t imagine one little drop is any worse than what Turpentine’d typically do to it.

Yeah — it can’t have gotten messed up much more than it already was!

aaaagh the happy kittens and stars coming from Honey’s guitar! Soo cute. I feel like even the guitars will get together before Turp and Honey figure themselves out.

Next: these guitars spend an unforgettable night together in the music store basement.

I GASPED when I saw the guitar drop

At least it wasn’t the neck! T^T

Kathleen on November 6, 2012 @ 12:21 am

Sidenote: I don’t deserve to still own a working guitar, from how many times I’ve stupidly dropped mine (including awkwardly hitting its neck)!

D’awww, even Turp can’t resist the kitten spewing cuteness!

OMG OMG they’re touching each other’s GUITARS in a sneaky way i feel DIRTY just WATCHING

Kathleen on November 13, 2012 @ 1:13 am Reply

Yeah, I wanted this guitar-touching to have weird, disproportionate significance — plus the whole thing where it’s all sneaky and illicit.

Now I’m officially picturing Rosie as some flop-eared mop of a spaniel. Not sure of Turpentine. Maybe a snake or something. It’s kind of hard to tell for sure as yet. Maybe when she gets more development.

*is so going to write a crossover now*

And now Turps is all feeling up on Honey’s guitar-soul. If you aren’t careful you’re going to spawn Golden Compass/Band vs Band crossovers and alkfhjdaskjdh

Heh, I actually talked about His Dark Materials daemons with my girlfriend when I was working on this one!

[edit: this goes down hereeee]

On second thought, Turpentine might be a coyote.

Kathleen on December 3, 2012 @ 11:27 pm

I think there’s bonus points here for any imagining of this where they’re not just…both cats.

Kathleen on December 3, 2012 @ 11:31 pm

also yes please write a crossover
