Oh my gosh, finally, a new page! We’re back! Thanks for your patience, everyone.

Other news: I’m about 80% done shipping out the Kickstarter rewards, and I’m glad to see that a bunch of people have already gotten their books (and so glad that this book finally exists!)

As if Turp doesn’t have like three separate songs in which she refers to herself as Queen of Garbage Mountain.

“Itza whole ‘nother thing when I joke I’m a trash heap versus my girlfriend calling me a trash heap.” Is my guess.

I’m so glad I found this comic. At its foundation, it’s uplifting, and on the top it’s reassuring. The characters are all over the place, but you’re not impelled to hate anyone. There is tension and recklessness and selfishness and drama, and there is camaraderie and respect and joy. I feel it makes for a warm beating heart.

And whenever my depressed self says that I don’t belong there, I have my backstage snapshot to prove otherwise 😉

So sweet. And then that last bit has me laugh out loud…

Finally, a new page!!!! Made my day!!

I just read this whole comic in one day and I think I drove my wife INSANE sitting beside her on the couch and making noises. I was so distressed when Turpentine insulted Honey that one time, and full to bursting with relief and anguished excitement when they made up. And, no joke, when they finally kissed I threw my hands in the air like i was watching football, hahaha! I was a very active reader XD

I think what I love about this story is that I went in expecting it to be black and white, typical good girl falls for bad girl story. BUT it’s so much more than that! Honey has a dark side what with repressing her sexuality and using escapism so religiously, and Turp’s got a soft side (we all know how much she loves that darn cat). That whole concept really hit home for me when Honey was injured and Turp was sick and those different sides of them came out. All the characters are really well done!

Anyway, this got really long but I want to thank you so much for creating this comic! I’ll eagerly await more!

I’m finally caught up with this comic, and I am so grateful to you for making it! The romance, the humor, the characters, I love it all. And speaking of characters, thank you for Dominique – good representation of trans people is hard to find outside of the media we create, and I was touched by how much care you took in getting it right.

I just discovered this comic, read it in a day – such a breath of fresh air – I think there’s something up with the server though, the pages don’t load sometimes. Kathleen, you are amazing.
