Honey’s getting chubbier…is it plot-related or changing aesthetics? Either way Honey’s always cute.

No plot reason – it’s just how her character design’s been gradually evolving ’cause I think it’s cute.

So I spent forever trying to decide what it is about panel two that I love so much. Like aside from Turp looking fabulous and Honey looking both cute and #relatable, and everything being so lovely and gay. Like aside from all of that.

And finally I think I’ve decided…it’s the teeth. Honey Hart’s toothy grin. I remember way back in the earliest pages, toothy expressions were very prominent, and it was something really unique that I enjoyed about your art style. It’s changed a lot since then – everything looks slicker and more confident, but I guess I also really appreciate how it’s fundamentally still so silly and fun.

This was a longer comment than I meant for it to be…who knew I was this passionate about comic teeth?
