Yeah! So, this has become a tradition around here — last year’s were freestanding, but I liked this year’s together as a page. I’ll post each of these separately on my tumblr, too, for conveniently sending to your love interest or nemesis or whatever.
Other news: I’m actually getting really close to having everything together to launch my Help Me Print My Book Kickstarter, which is terrifying! I also just ordered STICKER SHEETS, which I could not be more excited about.
1. So, yeah, this day job seems to at least sometimes be a night job.
2. One thing Turpentine hated about that job was that they totally wouldn’t let her wear her tiara. She put it back on within minutes of getting home.
Who remembered that she had a side job at a video store? WELL: no need to remember this any more. Speculation on what she ultimately did to get fired: wide open.
Bog Demon 2, infamously, has nothing to do with the original Bog Demon, and doesn’t really have bog demons in it. It’s mostly about werewolves.
Maybe that’s where she picked up her valuable tips on electrical safety.
Ah, Carrie “Cherry Cola” Kirsch: the BVB character that I think we know the least about relative to the number of times she’s appeared, and the fact that she’s in one of the Main Two Bands. I wanted to do something with that, and with this vibe the Candy Hearts have always had where they spend a lot of time together and identify as close pals but maybe they’re not that close in some ways, and there are these real gaps in how well they know each other.
(I think Zero almost doesn’t count in the rankings of how well we know each character, since it’s his thing that he’s silent and kinda enigmatic. But hey, if he does, I think he just outranked Cherry by having his wedding shown.)
In other news: I’m both excited and terrified about making the print book and related stuff happen, but I’m determined that it will happen, and be in people’s hands late spring / early summer. More details on that soon.
