Man. Was feeling bad for Arsenic in this one. Though I can’t quite tell if this is a happy ending or not? It was also strange to find out that Angel doesn’t like Grungy Messes? Like that is a bad thing.

Well, he says he doesn’t like that, but…

So in panel….8? Does Damon notice that Nick likes him the way he is and go for that? Or is it just like a pity bone…? Poor Nick

It’s the “likes him the way he is” thing — and specifically that he likes his worse self, pre- attempt to be a Candy Heart.

I’m trying to read the label on Damon’s bass. It kind of looks like “Glitterbaby Criticism” but I have my doubts.

I definitely want to label some of my instruments with quotes from this webcomic, though.

This comic is fantastic, by the way. I hope I’m not late to the party (given it was started in 2011) but I’ve read this much in two days and I am thoroughly infatuated the characters and plot and art and /everything/.

Wow I really hope that doesn’t sound weird.

But reading this has actually made me more inclined to want to start a band. I have musically oriented friends and I now I’m compelled to address them with “Say, gang…”. We might dedicate a song to you if we ever get past the stage of writing ludicrous song titles.
